Nacho Cheese Doritos recipe


  • 6 corn tortillas 
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Nacho cheese powder
  • ⅓ cup of yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon of paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of onion powder
  • Chipotle powder (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon tomato powder (optional)
  • Salt (optional)

Cool Ranch Doritos recipe


  • 6 corn tortillas 
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons of onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
  • ¼ cup of nutritional yeast
  • 2 teaspoons of dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons of dried chives
  • ½ – 1 teaspoon of salt 

Spicy Taco Doritos recipe


  • 6 corn tortillas 
  • A tablespoon of olive oil
  • ¼ cup of nutritional yeast
  • 2 teaspoons of chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons of onion powder
  • A teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • A teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt
  • ½ teaspoon of cumin
  • ½ teaspoon of coriander

Baking instructions:

  • Preheat your oven between 300 to 350 degrees
  • Place your baking sheet down 
  • Place the tortillas on top of each other
  • Cut it into eight slices
  • Place the chips into a medium-sized bowl
  • Drizzle olive oil over them, turn it to cover the other side with oil
  • Sprinkle the seasoning over each chip with a spoon till both sides are coated perfectly
  • Place the chips on the baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes
  • After the first seven minutes, rotate your baking pan
  • Monitor the chips during the last two minutes to prevent burning
  • After baking, allow the chips to cool down

Can celiac patients eat Doritos?

Yes, they can. Celiac patients can also enjoy some Doritos flavors such as the Simply Organic White Cheddar and Toasted Corn Flavored Tortillas Chips.  

Those are the only chips safe for consumption for celiac patients as they have the gluten-free label. This means they contain less than 20 ppm of gluten, which is considered safe for you if you have any form of gluten sensitivity.
